You're not only driven -- you can drive your own boat
You work independently. You're a self-starter -- even if no one else were in the office, you'd work just as hard and just as meticulously.

You're passionate about accuracy
You double and triple-check your work because you know that accurate data is crucial for an Accounting Department to operate successfully. You pay strong attention to detail, have excellent math, grammar, spelling and proof-reading skills.

You're organized and diligent
You can multitask because you keep things in order. You're timely. And you leave breadcrumbs so others could figure out how you got the job done.

You're a team player
You can coordinate efforts with many different departments -- both internal and external -- to get the job done right. You use sound judgment and intuitive analysis. And you know to follow up to make sure everyone's on the same page, especially when it comes to donor info and HR tasks.

You know the tools
You know how to best use Microsoft Excel and online tools to utilize time wisely. Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.

You have experience to back you up
You have at least one year of general administrative or data entry experience. You have at least a high school diploma; college-level accounting classes are a plus. You're not afraid to ask questions when you can't find the answer on your own.

We're looking for someone to start ASAP and work through the Fall. You must be in the NYC area to apply; you'll work 2-3 days (a minimum of 15 hours) from our office in Tribeca.

This is an unpaid internship - but is an exceptional opportunity to gain experience at an international non-profit with an ambitious mission. We will gladly work with your institution to give you academic credit for your experience.
