  • Research prospective faith-based partners

  • Maintain charity: water's relationships with our faith-based fundraisers

  • Monitor faith-based campaigns and online conversations to get a sense of their stories and their missions

  • Track and organize our relationships, manage and analyze data on successful fundraising

  • Handle general donor support, working closely with our team to make sure all communication with donors is stream-lined and consistent with our brand and mission

  • Come up with and pitch ideas to expand our faith-based partnerships and improve the overall partnership experience

You’re super organized. You can multitask and keep track of what needs to be done.

You're a motivated fundraiser and have a special interest in faith-based groups.

You're eager to learn. You're inspired to change the world. You know that funding water projects in developing nations can do this. You're committed to charity: water's mission and solving the world water crisis.

You're articulate, direct and professional. You're more than capable of providing information concisely and effectively in writing or while speaking. You make sure you know the situation or data inside and out before sharing with donors. You hate typos!

You have the basics down pat. You know how to best use Microsoft Word, Excel and online tools to multitask and stay on top of several projects simultaneously.

You have experience and education to back you up. You're an undergraduate student, or recent graduate. You also have previous administrative work under your belt, and preferably experience working with faith-based organizations.

You're independent yet flexible.  You achieve results with little supervision. You aspire to own projects while also following our staff's critique and leadership.

You'll start in early January and commit to the entire spring semester at the charity: water office. We'll need you for 20 hours+ a week and in the office at least three days a week.

This is an unpaid internship - but is an exceptional opportunity to gain experience at an international non-profit with an ambitious mission. We will gladly work with your institution to give you academic credit for your experience.
