  • You'll  research prospective high profile individual supporters and family foundations.
  • You'll create supporter reports using our database to assist the Key Relationships team with streamlining their efforts.
  • You'll stay on top of cross-departmental communication about specific donors, donation issues and water project reporting.
  • You'll oversee the creation of new supporter files in our database and ensure efficiency with the program to maximize the Key Relationships Team’s role.
  • You'll handle general donor support, working closely with our Key Relationships team to make sure all communication with donors is stream-lined and consistent with our brand and mission.

You're a mover, a shaker, and an avid fundraiser.
You're eager to learn. You're inspired to change the world. You know that funding water projects in developing nations can do this. You're committed to charity: water's mission and solving the world water crisis.

You're articulate, direct and professional.
You're more than capable of providing information concisely and effectively in writing or while speaking. You make sure you know the situation or data inside and out before sharing with donors.

You have the basics down pat.
You know how to best use Microsoft Word, Excel and online tools to multitask and stay on top of several projects simultaneously. You're comfortable (and even enjoy!) prospect research and making pivot tables.

You have experience and education to back you up.
You're an undergraduate student or recent graduate. You also have previous administrative work under your belt, preferably for a non-profit organization.

You're independent yet flexible.
You achieve results with little supervision. You aspire to own projects while also following our staff's critique and leadership.

You'll start in late May and commit at least 3-4 months at the charity: water office. We'll need you for 20 hours a week and in the office at least three days a week.

This is an unpaid internship - but is an exceptional opportunity to gain experience at an international non-profit with an ambitious mission. We will gladly work with your institution to give you academic credit for your experience.
