Skills

You're passionate about design and storytelling online
You have a passion for visual design and you're experienced in creating intuitive and beautiful interfaces. You know how to visually tell a story online through the use of images, type and graphics.

You know your medium
You take into consideration browser sizes, load times, and accessibility. You can communicate and troubleshoot with developers.

Your design is pixel-perfect
You care deeply about each and every detail of your design. You pay attention to every pixel, corner and button.

You're an excellent communicator and take criticism well
You embrace constructive criticism as part of the design process, and you can clearly articulate your design decisions.

You take things away until it hurts
You understand that design should enhance the experience, not get in the way. You look at every element and judge it for its usefulness and you're ruthless about taking things away if they don't serve a purpose.

You're always learning
You've been following the emergence of flat design, and you think about mobile and responsive design all the time when creating a website or a page. You place an importance on reading blogs and articles about UI design as part of your professional development.

You balance the tension between shipping fast and excellence
You have a bias towards shipping, but balance it with a desire to ship excellent products, and know when to choose one over the other.
