today’s september birthdays.

Happy birthday to the following September Campaign fundraisers. They’re helping us bring clean water to Central African Republic:

Malita’s turning 24: “It’s not the amount of years in your life, but the amount of life in your years that matters,” says Malita’s mission statement. She’s making the most of her 25th birthday by raising $1,000 — and she’s almost half-way there!

Zanette’s turning 43: The fact that women in developing nations spend 26% of their time walking for water really spoke to Zanette. She’s working to raise enough money for a whole water project.

John’s turning 30: John Keatley photographs some pretty amazing people — but his birthdays have always been about “stuff.” So this year, John’s giving up his 30th to raise enough to build a clean water project in C.A.R.

Thanks for using your birthday to change the world.
