A partnership between Brighton and charity: water to bring clean water to hospitals
in Kenya.
We were humbled last year by the effort of Brighton employees, customers and vendors that resulted
in more than $788,000 raised – enough to transform the lives of over 40,000 people.
100% of funds raised went to 21 hospitals in Kenya.

Water for the Hospitals.
Each health clinic serves at least 200 patients per day. Water is piped into each hospital ward and room- providing water for surgery, labor and delivery, and sanitizing equipment and linens.
By implementing deep boreholes, each clinic’s water system now yields enough water to serve the clinic as well as an estimated 2,000 people per day from the surrounding community.
Water for the Communities.
The kiosk is a small cement house with four taps. It is located on health clinic property,
facing out towards the town or road. A person is employed to work in the kiosk and collect
fees from each user before distributing the water. The funds generated from the sale
of the water allow the clinic to purchase diesel for the pump, and to pay the kiosk vendors.
The kiosks create jobs in the community, and provide residents with the ability to purchase
water that is clean and affordable.
