charity: ball 2009 -- we dare say it was our best ball yet.
More than 1,100 people attended -- from grassroots supporters to celebrities -- more than 120 volunteers helped pull it off and we raised more than $1.7 million from the event. Our Live Auction was the most successful we've had by far, raising $1.3 million in a matter of hours.
The best part? Funds raised at charity: ball 09 made it possible for charity: water to serve, to date, more than a million people with clean, safe drinking water.
