In 2011, the charity: ball was hosted by actress Jessica Biel and film producer Tyler Perry. 2,200 guests attended the evening in NYC, and in one night, we raised $2.2 million dollars for clean water projects. Over 100,000 people around the world will continue to drink clean water because of a single night.
The Waterwalk is a constant at every charity: ball. Millions of people around the world walk hours each day to collect dirty water, so we ask our guests to walk a fraction of the distance in someone else’s shoes to experience it for themselves.
