	THE PROJECT: this year, Saks Fifth Avenue is taking on charity: water as their Mother's and Father's day initiative for 2008.  this means: 1. an in-store promotion with charity: water bracelets sold in over 100 Saks stores nation-wide.  2. an evening cocktail party/fundraiser at the Saks New York store.  3. charity: water Mother's and Father’s day e-cards sold at saks.com
	mother's day success: $16,000 raised. Thanks to many of you who responded to our call for designers. who we are: you may have heard of us. we’re a non-profit organization called charity: water. we work to bring safe water into impoverished communities by funding freshwater wells, basic sanitation systems and other sustainable clean water solutions. We sell a $20 bottle of water and give 100% away to freshwater projects in developing nations.  We also work to raise awareness about the issue here at home by using video, design and new media and photography installations to tell our story. watch the video >
