We promised we'd be back.
Last September, we tried to drill a well in Moale Village, deep in the heart of Central African Republic. We were unable to find water, but promised we’d be back with expert geologists and new equipment to try again.
While the people continued to walk miles each day to get their drinking water from a dirty swamp, our drilling partner Jim Hocking was working on a plan.
Yesterday, clean water from 240 feet beneath the earth gushed from a newly installed pump at Moale. Watch the video and see what happened >
