Pangea Day is a global event bringing the world together through film. charity: water is a non-profit working to bring clean water into developing nations.

On Pangea Day, May 10, 2008, locations in Cairo, Kigali, London, Los Angeles, Mumbai, and Rio de Janeiro will be linked for a live program of powerful films, live music, and visionary speakers. Broadcast in seven languages, the program is reaching millions of people worldwide at the same moment, aiming to promote the kind of cross-cultural understanding, empathy, and global unity needed to address the most pressing global issues.

NEEDED:  215 PEOPLE TO GIVE $20 EACH.
Together with the Pangea Day global community, our goal is to raise enough for a well in the Democratic Republic of Congo.  If just 215 people give $20 each, we will build a well. 100% of your donation will go towards direct project costs.

So, for $20, one person in Africa is provided with clean water.
