In Haiti, just $30 can give one person access to clean and safe
drinking water. If you’re familiar with charity: water, you've
probably heard us say $20 will provide water for one person. This is
still accurate when we average our 2,300 projects in the 16 countries
where we work. In Haiti, however, material costs are high, which
accounts for a higher per-person cost.
