Asalamu Alaykum,
In this blessed month of Ramadan, it was thought to start an initiative in which those who do not have access to water can be provided water. A hadith states, The Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked, “Which charity is best?” He replied, “[Providing] water”’. [Abu Dawud].
We have easy access to water alhamdulillah, we are able to turn on the faucet to shower, wash dishes and easily able to wash our clothes. But not everyone in this world has the oppurtunity or the means to do so. With the blessings Allah has provided us, why don't we help others who do not have acess to clean water?
Every donation to this fundraiser will 100% be going to Charity:Water, and once this campaign is completed, they will pick a place and send you all photos and GPS coordinates so that you can see where your money goes and what community you were able to help.
May Allah make this a means of sadaqa jariyah for you and your family and bless you in this world and the hereafter. May he also forgive your sins and grant you jannatul firdous, Ameen!
