Depeche Mode pledged their birthdays together to raise money for clean water projects this year.

For over 30 years, Depeche Mode's Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher and Dave Gahan have been musical pioneers and trendsetters. While their history with charity: water isn't quite as deep, we're extremely excited to be partnering with the band and Hublot over the course of their upcoming world tour to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for clean water.

DEPECHE MODE'S TAKE ON BIRTHDAYS:

How do you guys like to celebrate your birthdays? At this point, it's all about celebrating with family. A dinner with friends and family is ideal.

Each of you name your one mandatory birthday treat/indulgence.
Dave: Chocolate box from Nobu
Andy: Eggs benedict
Martin: Nothing special, really.

What's your most memorable birthday on the road together? Definitely Andy's 40th birthday. We were down in New Orleans and had a crazy time. Alligators, bars, clubs...

Most unusual birthday gift any of you have ever received?
We once received a "Depeche Mode Bible." It had The Book of Dave, The Book of Martin, The Book of Fletch, etc. It was really pretty crazy.

Why did you decide to do a birthday campaign for clean water? It just seemed like an incredible opportunity for us to give back and to take advantage of all of our birthdays being within a couple months of each other and during the first European leg of our upcoming tour. Our goal is to get our fans involved and to really help make a significant difference in people's access to clean, safe water around the world.
