We ask guests to walk a fraction of the distance an average person in Africa might walk each day, to experience the burden that millions of people face to provide water for their families. Each time a person walks, a group of sponsors donate towards a well.

To us it says “gasoline” but for a million people on the planet, it represents water. It's 40 pounds when full, and people all over the world use it to carry water. The water they bring home to their families often makes them sick.
