Why Loren Collarile is fundraising for clean water

My Grandfather, Raymond Collarile, was one of the most humble, generous and selfless people I've ever known. After his passing this Summer, I have come to realize how determined he was to change lives in any way possible. He had almost 40 (40!) sponsored and adopted children in need throughout the world. Since his passing, our family has adopted a few of the youngest and sickest children. However, several of these children have lost sponsorship. He also funded a few projects to build wells, and donated cows and chickens to villages in need, giving them a residual food source.

He would have wanted his legacy to continue, and his generosity to live on. With that being said, I ask from the bottom of my heart, in his memory, for you to please give whatever you can to help bring fresh water to people in need. This charity will fund projects to help build wells in Central Africa. Just $20 can give 1 person fresh water EVERY day for 20 YEARS.

100% of the money raised goes to digging wells and to clean water projects in developing nations. 100% of our gifts will change the world, one person at a time.

We have the privilege EVERY day to choose any beverage we happen to be in the mood for, to turn on the sink or the shower by turning a nozzle. There are millions of people in this world who walk miles to the nearest fresh water source hoping just to get one sip of dirty, unfiltered water. This is seemingly impossible to us because of the privileged world we have grown up in. But this IS reality to many, many people.

Please, please please, find it in your heart to reach out and help end this despair. Every little bit counts. My grandfather believed that the world can be changed and every one can save a life. By doing simple things like donating a few dollars to help others, we CAN change the world...and we WILL.

Blessings,
Loren Collarile
