Think back on all the times I haven't had a birthday party.
Think of all the money you've saved as a result-- no subway rides, no cab fares, no splitting the check, no singing gorilla-grams (at least not recently), no gifts.
I've saved you a lot of money by being so modest and disorganized.
So I'm asking you to take some small portion of the money you might have spent on the DJ from Purple Haze, or the VFW rental, and give it help to people who can put it to good use.
They estimate here that 1 billion(!) people don't, at the moment, have access to clean drinking water. This was incredibly alarming to me, and I imagine it is to you. Please help play a small part in changing that.
