I'm turning one year older in a few days and while moving around in Berlin for the past 15 months (on to the 7th flat!) I realised I probably had more than enough stuff and I didn't really need anything this year. The best gift I could ask for, I already have it: being surrounded by my friends and family, living the life I'm living everyday.

Everyone is not as lucky as I am, so I'm asking for my age in dollars (yes, Charity Water is based in the US - but the equivalent in Euros) from everyone I know (or less, if you can't afford it of course).

I met Charity Water's CEO at my workplace last month and he was really a cool, inspiring guy. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.

That would be great if you could help me reaching my goal!
