Although not originally the intent, having a spotter boat has become a requirement per my wife aaaaand because things are getting a little sharky out there... My friends have committed to following me in their boat which is amazing. Aligning my schedule, boat availability, my friends' schedule and marine conditions has brought a delay but its looking like this week the paddle is happening! We are targeting this Friday or maybe Thursday depending on the winds. I'm getting very excited - I'll share pics and videos and bring you all along on the journey.
Now regarding all your generosity - I can't thank you all enough. Friends, family and even people I've never met have all contributed. I will be thinking of all of you, every stroke of the way. I hope by now you've taken a little look at Charity:Water and have found some pride in helping out such a life-changing cause. So far the estimate is we've brought clean water to 63 people - making a difference is what its all about. It makes me feel good and I hope you feel the same. It certainly brings motivation for me too! I'll be back to you Friday.
