There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!

Like most companies, Fpweb.net used to spend a lot of cash on branded swag (pens, books, t-shirts, etc.) for various conferences and events. And while it drove people to come see us, it started to seem a bit foolish. Let’s face it, most swag gets thrown away before it even makes it out of the exhibit hall.

So, we decided to change things up a bit.

Last year, Fpweb.net ditched the swag and started a fundraising campaign to help charity: water provide clean water to communities all over the world. For each unique badge scan we collect at our booth, Fpweb.net makes a donation - and this year, we’ve doubled down on our efforts!

Think about it: Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink - even the water in our toilets is clean!
Unfortunately, many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, an estimated 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses - most before they’ve even reached their fifth birthday. But it doesn’t have to be that way. charity: water creates life-changing solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand Filters that produce safe, clean water in developing countries.

100% of the money is used to build clean water projects, and upon completion, charity: water sends us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we’ve helped. Once we receive this information, we share it with all of you who played a role and made a difference with this project - just by stopping by our booth!
