A message from Brooke

Over the course of my life, I’ve been blessed to see so much of this planet. But the experiences that have affected me most profoundly have happened far from the stage. Out of all of the challenges that I’ve seen humanity face, lack of clean water has been the most catastrophic. It affects health, livelihood, and access to education, especially for girls.

In 2010, I donated my birthday to charity: water and together we were able to fund eight water projects in Ethiopia. I had the opportunity to visit and see the difference that clean water brings with my own eyes. That is why I’m so passionate about charity: water’s mission to end the global water crisis in their lifetime.

There is a lot of brokenness in this world, and we cannot fix all of it. But by giving clean water, each of us can make the human experience better for someone else. I hope you’ll join me.

Our Work

696 million people lack basic access to clean and safe drinking water. We're on a mission to change that.

We believe that sustainable work is locally-led. Along with implementing community-owned water projects, our local partners help facilitate comprehensive water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programming to protect everyone’s long-term health.

“Giving monthly helps me to never forget those who are in need.”

Jeremy Snell

“To know that 100% of our monthly donation provides clean drinking water makes us feel so good about our monthly contribution.”

Marty & Richard Dutch

“I give monthly because the less a child has to think about their need for clean water, the more they can learn and grow and dream and do.”
