We received a $5 million Impact Award grant from Google.org in 2012 to develop and deploy a hand-pump sensor that would monitor and relay data on water flow. With nearly 1,000 in the field and more on deck, we're working together to advance transparency and sustainability in the water sector.

Partnering since 2010, Caterpillar has joined us to support water projects in nine countries, sponsor a Waterwalk at charity: ball, generously support our operations, and fund our first virtual reality film.

More about Aveda

We've partnered with Aveda to bring clean water to people in India, Nepal, Madagascar and Ethiopia. In 2022, 100% sales from Earth Day through Aveda.com funded clean water projects. And with salons, experience centers, and institutes around the world fundraising to make an even bigger impact, this partnership is bringing clean water to over 107,000 people.

Since 2009, Smile Generation has supported water projects in four countries, aided Haiti after the earthquake, helped us fund a drilling rig, inspired doctors and patients to build more than 100 wells in 2013 and gave clean water, hope, and time back to over 20,000 people in Ethiopia in 2019.

In 2019 The Weather Channel launched their Forecast: Change initiative, with a goal of educating and mobilizing people on the issue of global climate change. In 2019 and 2020, Forecast: Change is focused on how climate change is exacerbating water scarcity and access to clean water around the world. They partnered with us to provide 100M liters of clean water to people from countries like Niger & Cambodia.

Starting in 2015, charity: water was one of twelve domestic and international charities to partner with Comic Relief for Red Nose Day's launch in the United states, bringing clean and safe drinking water to children and communities in Rwanda.

More about Humble Bundle

The Humble Bundle community has sponsored projects in 11 countries, serving 287,000 people since they first joined us as a partner in 2012. They've supported charity: water through dozens of bundles, three across-site features, and rallied their community to bring clean water to Nepal following the 2015 earthquake.

Partnering with us since 2013, Keurig Green Mountain has sponsored new water projects and invested in Pipeline to keep water flowing. They've inspired campaigners with a generous match to double their impact in Ethiopia and spread the word about the water crisis in Rwanda through the #BrewViewGive Campaign.

After funding 2 water projects in Nepal in early 2021, Ettitude realized they wanted to have even more of an impact. Not only do their CleanBamboo sheets save over 8,000 gallons of water per set, but now they also help provide clean water access to those in need! Moving forward, 1% of all of Ettitude's bedding products will be donated to charity: water to help change lives around the world.
