When I was staying in Senegal with friends, I remember waking up at 3am to collect water into the jugs as it was rationed.
We used those jugs to bathe, clean ourselves and take ablution.
Hi Guys, turning 31 this year, I struggled to find what it really means to be a year older.
When my wife asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday, I didn't really have an answer.
I felt that I already had everything I could want at this point in my life now.
Am grateful for what I've been given, the friends and opportunities and everything in life seems like a bonus.
My heart felt that this year I wanted to do this CharityWater campaign again.
I hope you will help us reach the goal together!
This year, in conjunction with the blessed month of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad and my birthday, I'd like to give more people access to water.
Instead of gifts, I'd really appreciate it if you would contribute to this cause.
What would you do for clean water? For the 703 million people living without it, the answer is anything. And they do: they walk miles every day, in treacherous conditions and extreme heat, just to access water that makes them sick — or worse.
That’s why I’m doing this fundraiser. charity: water challenged me to do something to help those who would do anything for water that’s safe to drink.
Please support my campaign. Every $40 I raise will provide a lifetime of clean water to one person.
Most importantly, 100% of every dollar you donate will go directly to providing the life-changing gift of clean water where it’s needed most. charity: water will even report back with details of where your money went, and how it’s helping.
Any amount you can contribute will be appreciated.
May God accept the work we do.
Thank you so much, my dear friend.
