Hey everyone, I'm back, and once again asking you to help me battle the water crisis.
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Arav, and for the seventh time, I am asking that you donate to my campaign for charity: water. All the money raised will help the folks at charity: water build and maintain water pumps and wells and develop sustainable systems for providing clean water to entire communities. Access to clean water improves the lives of children and their families, and gives them a chance for health, happiness, and education. What's special about these campaigns is that every cent of the money you donate goes to fund water projects, and that everyone gets to find out exactly where their money goes and which communities receive the aid.
While my campaign this year is a bit too late to be considered a birthday campaign, I'm drawing inspiration from some of my past campaigns to create a hook for everyone to donate. I have been dabbling in some fiction writing alongside my passions for quizbowl and other academic competitions, so my plan is to write a short story in which characters will be named after every person who donates to my campaign. If you want to opt out, or give me an alternate name to use, then just write it in your comments when donating. Later this year, I will publish the story online for everyone to read at their leisure. Who knows, I may even try to get it self-published.
Combining my hobby of writing stories with my hope to continue raising money for such an important cause seems like a good way for me to give back, and to recognize all of you who donate while creating something that everyone can enjoy as well.
One last thing: I would like to give a huge thank you to all the wonderful people at charity: water, working to make these endeavors successful and giving their all to improve the lives of everyone they can. None of this would be happening without their hard work and dedication, and I really think they are awesome.
So please donate, and join me in improving the lives of people in real need.

I created a promotion video for this campaign. Mom thinks it's goofy. Dad and I think it's high art. You decide.
