It all started at his 31st birthday party, with $20 donations dropped into a plexiglass box. Nearly two decades later and more than 20 million people served across 29 countries, we’re celebrating Scott’s 50th birthday by continuing what he’s dedicated his life to: changing lives with clean water.

In the weeks leading up to September 7, we quietly launched this fundraiser and personally invited those who have supported Scott and this mission to help us create his biggest birthday impact yet.

Thanks to our generous community, we reached our original goal of $500,000 for clean water projects in Uganda, the country where the very first charity: water project was built. Even more incredible, that $500,000 raised was matched by a generous donor.
