Hello All,

I am excited to run approximately 1/12 of the distance from Diamond Lake to Bend, OR, as part of a 30+ hour relay race! We will brave steep trails at high elevation, pigeon-sized mosquitos and hardly any snooze time as we run through rural Oregon by foot and by smelly van.

More importantly, I'm honored to be running again for charity: water! Access to clean water, and the freedom that results from it, must become a universal human right. On average, it takes just a $40 donation to charity: water for a person to gain *permanent* access to safe and accessible water!

I've been very humbled to run in support of c:w for the 3rd year, and inspired by the stories of people who have persevered through so much and can now live fuller lives without having to worry daily about clean water.

The Cascade Lakes Relay takes place on June 20/21, and I am already looking forward to the midnight rave party in the forest! Running for access to clean water truly adds meaning to an already fun event, and I hope many of you will also support such a fantastic mission.
