This September, the One Million Ways #race4water Off Season team has pledged to walk, bike and run every single day for the entire month!
Last year, we raised USD$150 for Charity: water projects, helping bring clean water to more families all around the world; and this year... we want to do even MORE!!!
Not only are we raising donation this year, but for every Mile our Race 4 Water Offseason team completes, a matching donation is triggered through the Charity Miles app!
100% of the money raised by this campaign will be sent directly into the field to bring clean water to those who need it most! When the projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped!
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
