This year I am cycling 30 Miles on Saturday, June 25th (my 30th Birthday!) to raise money for Charity Water. Millions of women and children spend 30+ minutes walking each way just to get dirty water and have to repeat the process multiple times per day to provide for their families. Instead, we can bring *clean water* to their towns, freeing up time for education, cooking, working, and family. It's easy to take for granted clean water! Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated to provide these life-saving solutions.

A bit more background: 771 million people in the world live without clean water. That’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide. Or, twice the population of the United States. The majority live in isolated rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their family. Not only does walking for water keep children out of school or take up time that parents could be using to earn money, but the water often carries diseases that can make everyone sick. But access to clean water means education, income, and health - especially for women and kids.

100% of your donation goes directly to water projects in the field where Charity Water partners with local drillers and community leaders. Maintenance is key. These are sustainable projects where all involved are committed to longterm upkeep and continued use. Thank you for making my birthday dreams come true!
