Dear friends and family,
On Sunday, May 19th 2019, I become a Bar Mitzvah and I would like to invite all of you to help me bring clean water to people in need around the world. 🌍 ✡️
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink, but diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. 🤮🆘😷
So this year I'm doing something about it. I'm working with charity: water, an organization on a mission to bring clean and safe drinking water to every person on the planet and I'm asking for help from everyone I know, and every bit is a huge help! ☯️🚰🗺

How did charity: water become my problem to help solve?
When my mom brought home the book, THIRST, which indelibly changed my way of looking at clean water, the worlds most basic need of every human on this great earth, I was jaw dropped, in a shock like state of awe.

Thank you again for helping my campaign raise money for clean water.
The Projects we are funding are currently underway in Mozambique! Hang tight — it takes about 21 months to build, implement, and then fully report back on a water project.WHY Mozambique? Well, Mozambique underwent a civil war that led to extreme poverty and severely unhealthy living conditions. In addition, floods and earthquakes exacerbate the growing water crisis. With the 22nd highest child mortality rate in the world, every year 82,000 children in Mozambique don't make it to the age of five.
Recently, Mozambique has made incredible strides toward development, and providing access to clean water is a major priority.WHAT'S next? Thanks to you, charity: water's partner organization, HELVETAS USA, is busy working on 129 projects. When those projects are complete, they'll collect GPS coordinates, photos, and other details about each community to show us the impact YOU and I made in Mozambique.

As I near closer to my Bar Mitzvah date & as I see the outpour of generosity & a greater awareness for more clean water, I am in awe. I never imagined I’d have this many caring donors participate in my campaign.
I know the campaign doesn’t end on 5/19/19 and it won’t end after the 6 months of campaign time slotted for me. This mission is one I am determined to keep helping along and help bring to light.
