Access to clean water means education, income and health - especially for women and kids.
The majority of people without access to clean water live in isolated rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their family. Not only does walking for water keep children out of school or take up time that parents could be using to earn money, but the water often carries diseases that can make everyone sick.
This year for my birthday I want to do something different: I would like to fundraise money that will to build clean water projects where are needed.
Private donors cover charity: water's operating costs, so 100% of your donation to this campaign will go directly to water project costs. Clear and transparent.
