Hello Friends and Strangers,

It's not my birthday today, but I'm baking everyday for the next three months to give people the basic needs to live - safe drinking water. (Check out my blog where I document my progress - www.sugar4water.blogspot.com)

I found out just US$20 can give someone clean, safe water for 20 years! What a bargain! So I've decided I want to build one kick-ass well to support one community in need. And the cool thing about charity: water is that they spend 100% of the money I raise directly on the water projects. Even better, when projects are complete, every dollar is tied to the village and we'll be able to view the wells on Google Earth!

I've never actually been dying of thirst. And if you're like me, you'd like to see a world where no one does. Please help!

My 27th birthday wish is to build this water well. So I'm accepting $27 as my birthday present this year to support my campaign. US$5000 is a pretty ambitious goal for a first timer! but I believe it's still achievable *sparkly eyes* with everyone's support! So please help me help the seriously thirsty!
