I am so stoked to be running with a team of 12 people from Mt. Hood to the Oregon coast in the 30+ hour relay in support of charity: water!
771 million people in the world live without access to clean water...that's 1 in 10! Charity: water is battling the global water crisis by building community-owned water projects in 29 different countries. Any donations made to this campaign will go to clean water for people in Bangladesh! On average, it takes just a $40 donation to charity: water for a person to gain *permanent* access to safe and accessible water, and donations will be traceable to the specific project that they help fund.
The Hood to Coast relay starts on August 25th, and I'm really looking forward to running through the mountains and forest in support of such a wonderful cause!
