It all started at his 31st birthday party, with $20 donations dropped into a plexiglass box. Nearly two decades later and more than 20 million people served across 29 countries, we’re celebrating Scott’s 50th birthday by continuing what he’s dedicated his life to: changing lives with clean water.

We’ve quietly launched this fundraiser and personally invited those who have supported him and this mission to help us create his biggest birthday impact yet.

We’re aiming to raise $500,000 for clean water projects in Uganda, the country where the very first charity: water project was built. Even more incredible, every dollar you give will be matched by a generous donor—up to a total of $500,000—while funds remain. Your gift will go twice as far, helping us work towards $1M for Uganda by the end of September.
