Many of us have no idea what it’s like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink right from our sinks at home. Sadly, many girls my age do not have the opportunity to go to school, instead they travel, sometimes miles each day to collect water for their family to use that oftentimes is unclean and leads to sickness and even death.

But, many people worldwide don’t have that luxury. Each day around 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. With simple solutions like drilled wells, BioSand filters and spring protections, clean, safe water can be readily available to communities.

For my birthday this year, I decided to start this fundraising campaign to help Charity:Water build these types of projects throughout the world and I am looking for anyone who can help me!
