Hey friends! As most of you know, Matt and I are getting married this November! We are soooo excited for our wedding, but planning during this time has definitely had its challenges.

While our wedding isn’t going to happen exactly the way we imagined it, Matt and I feel incredibly lucky for everything we have. We have been blessed with incredible family and friends, great health, a beautiful home, food and drink, and SO much more.

For this reason, we’ve decided that instead of asking for wedding gifts, we’d like to ask our friends and family to donate to charity:water. Most of us don’t know what it’s like to feel thirsty. We turn on the faucet and our showers without even thinking about it. Many people around the world don’t have the basic need of clean water met.

785 million people around the world don’t have access to clean water. EVERY DAY, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.

We are hoping that with your help we can come together to make a difference and bring clean water to as many people as we can. 100% of donations made to charity:water go to building wells, spring protections and filters to bring clean water to communities all around the world.

After we’ve donated, charity:water sends photos and GPS coordinates so we can see exactly who we helped and where!

We have been truly blessed here in the US and have more than we need so instead of asking for wedding gifts, we ask that you make a donation to charity:water. We feel so strongly about this cause that Matt and I pledge to match every dollar up to $5000.
