I just turned 72 and I am asking you to honor this milestone in my life by making a contribution to my campaign to bring clean water to someone who lacks that most basic human need. It seems that under-served and disadvantaged people in the world are those most affected by climate and other emergencies and that their everyday lives are much more burdened by the hardships of inadequate clean water, food, and housing. Because of this I am committed to being a voice for those folks and lifting up their challenges to those who are able to make a difference and improve the opportunities of our global neighbors to live healthier, happier lives. I'm asking you to care about someone who is not a family member or a friend, but who is undoubtedly someone ELSE'S family member or friend and to make a donation to help that person to live a decent, productive life. Clean water is one very important way to assure that people have those opportunities. Please give what you are able to afford and know that your generosity will be WELL SPENT.
