On July 1, 2018, George Wu, Jeff Liu, Mike Jin, Tan Nguyen, Javier Pordoy, and I agreed to challenge ourselves to a regimen of running/walking/hiking 2 miles per day per person. If we do this through December 31, 2018, we would hit 2,019 total miles!!

You, friends and family, have kept us accountable! You pledged a dollar amount to charity:water before we started, and if we couldn't hit 2,019 miles by December 31, we would pay your pledge amount ourselves.

You also cheered us on, and even took time to track our progress on our own website, www.2019milestowater.org

Thanks to your support, we reached 2,059 miles!! It is a time for celebration, and there is no better celebration than the gift of water to those who need it the most.

100% of your pledge money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
