So this year instead of getting birthday gifts I decided to raise money to provide clean water to people in poor countries such as Bangladesh, Ethiopia, India, and others.

One important reason I like Charity water is that the private donors fund the operating costs so all the money you donate goes directly to building wells so people have access to clean water.

Another is their transparency and the fact that all the wells are on Google Maps.

So if you were planning to get me a gift, please don't. Instead, donate to this campaign an equivalent amount. Or more :D
