My biggest goal in life is to help others whenever I can. While my sixteenth birthday was August 19th, that doesn't mean that I cannot keep raising money for clean drinking water.
This is my second birthday campaign! Last year for my 15th birthday we gave 30 people clean water (double my 15 person goal)! Every year I hope to give water for my birthday. I have found that the joy of giving others access to clean water is much greater than the joy of receiving birthday presents.
We live in the comfort of our own homes taking showers, using indoor plumbing, washing dishes, etc. But some nearly 785 million people don't have that daily luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.

100% of the money donated to charity: water will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
