I’m not particularly excited for my 23rd birthday. Maybe I am being dramatic, but after 21, my general enthusiasm for outrageous birthday antics has waned significantly. So this year, I’ve decided to go all out and do something completely different. I have decided to dedicate my birthday to something a little bigger than me. This year, July 9, instead of buying me a round of drinks, or sending me a check in the mail, I want everyone to donate to my CharityWater Campaign, “Jackie’s H23O Project.” If everyone I know donates at least my age in dollars (that would be 23 for all you skim readers) I hope that I will be able to reach a goal of $2,300. If that goal is reached, we will be able to provide clean drinking water to 35 people in the world. Almost 1 Billion people are still in need of clean drinking water, and although 35 seems like a small number, we have to start somewhere! So help me make this goal become a reality! 100% of your donations will go to funding clean water projects, and nothing else. Help me make this my best birthday yet!
