Together we have raised $2,871 for clean water in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Malawi, Bangladesh and Mali for my 6 previous birthdays.
This year for August 13th (my 41st) let's raise another $600 to bring life-changing clean water to 20 more people. It's my favorite birthday gift!
Every day, 1,400 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. 100% of our donations go straight to water projects, not overhead.
Why I started doing this:
I heard Scott Harrison, founder of Charity:Water speak about the amazing shift his life took. He went from a successful indulgent nightclub promoter to a dedicated, compassionate leader working tirelessly for the benefit of people across the planet. After hearing the passion in his voice, and the huge impact that a simple resource like water can have on the quality of life of so many people, I had to get involved.
