2020 has been a rough year, and we would like to end the year by celebrating love, and also by cherishing and honoring what we take for granted.
Millions of people around the world do not have the most basic of assets - access to clean water. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
If you are looking to give us a gift to celebrate our wedding, please give the gift of water to someone else. Because of charity water's model, 100% of your donation will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
