Jimmy and Ivy are turning 40 this summer. We're doing well: we have two happy, healthy kids and a third (girl) on the way! We have everything that we need.

Ten years ago, we were turned on to the global water crisis. And ten years later, about 1,400 children still die each day from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. While our kids have been growing up, millions of children (literally; do the math) have lost that chance to grow up. We find this tragic; but mostly we find it unjust.

Especially because it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world. What we want people to know on our birthdays is that the global water crisis is very solvable.

It's just that we lack the collective will.

We are raising money for charity:water because they get the job done (and we have GPS coordinates to prove it). 100% of the money you donate will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, we will get more GPS coordinates.
