There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!

One of the items on my bucket list is to use my birthday each year for a Charity:Water Campaign.

This means, instead of asking for gifts, I ask my friends and family to donate to Charity:Water, helping people across those world gain access to clean drinking water.

Last year, the money from my campaign went to a water project in a village in Cambodia. I receive updates on the project's progress. It should be completed in about 9 months! How exciting to know that we contributed to a project that allows a group of people on the other side of the world to live healthier, happier lives!!

Here's why I think Charity:Water is worthy of our support:

Millions of children around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water.

Charity: Water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped! Also, because of private funding for administrative costs, 100% of donations go toward water projects in places where they are needed most.
