On September 25th, Jamie Fulbrook and I are doing something a little bit crazy — we're crossing the channel (21 miles) on a pair of Stand up Paddle boards.
It's not like we're the first to attempt this. Laird Hamilton completed the channel crossing a few of years back, it took him just over 7 hours to do so, but then again he did invent the sport.
Given our woeful lack of experience and that we could barely paddle 50m without falling off during our first test run last month in Brighton, 21 miles is going to be an interesting challenge!
The amazing team at OriginPaddleboards.com have generously lent us a couple of their inflatable boards to use for this mad mission and Jamie will be putting together a short film of the expedition afterwards as well.

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to you all for kindly donating to our little paddle board expedition in September.
