We can make a difference in the world simply by working together to fulfill a promise. #25daysofpeace
"All I want for Christmas is peace on Earth."
Of course this is a noble request, but one seemingly impossible to achieve. If ever there was a time for peace however, perhaps it could be at Christmas, a time when the impossible seems just a little bit less impossible.
It’s also a time when America spends around $500 billion on Christmas gifts. That's more than $600 per person. This Christmas, I'm taking a step back -- I want to give more than gifts that fit in boxes.
I want to give people life and the hope of peace.
800 million people are living without clean drinking water on our planet. My mission is to give clean water for Christmas this year. 100% of every dollar I raise will go directly to water projects. And when the projects are complete, charity: water will show us GPS coordinates, photos and other details about the communities we've helped.
Our goal for this campaign is to raise $2500. That is $100 for every day in the #25daysofpeace challenge. It is an impossible goal for me to complete on my own, just as peace is impossible alone. Will you join me in donating $25 to bring someone in need clean water this year?
