This campaign closed on Dec 31, 2013 Kate Trgovac brought clean water to Rovieng.
November is my birthday month. And when my friends and family asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I realised that what I wanted most was to make a difference in someone's life.
Well, clean water makes a HUGE difference in people's lives! With clean water people are healthier. They stay in school longer (girls especially). They become self-sufficient. They aren't as impacted by outside forces like regional conflicts and ineffective government services.
I'm incredibly lucky. I don't have to spend hours a day walking to collect water that may or may not be truly clean. I only have to spend about 15 seconds walking to one of three taps in my house if I want clean water.
Just $20 can give one person clean water to drink. Please help me celebrate my birthday this year and donate to my campaign. The best part is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water projects around the world, and when those projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can SEE the impact we made.
Awesome. I can't think of a better birthday gift.

Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.
100% of the money raised by this campaign is being used to bring clean water to help those in need. In 21 months we’ll be able to show you exactly where the money went and who it helped.
