Every day, 5,000 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses.
Millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.
I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know OR you can order vanilla bean cupcakes at $5 per cupcake. You still donate the money directly to Charity Water & you also have to send me an email, text, or facebook message saying that you gave X amount of dollars & I will give you X amount of cupcakes in exchange :) Simple enough? Delivery day for cupcakes will be January 7th. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.

What a worthwhile project for you birthday money to go towards? The Sunday School kids have raised $1500. which will be going to the Farm Animals and last year their raised $1500. for the Malaria Project. I think for 2014 they will be trying to collect $2500. for a well in a village.
