My Story:
Throughout my life I have been on a quest for purpose. When I was young my purpose was to fit in and be accepted by everyone. I tried to fit in with the social crowd and failed. I tried taking the honors classes to fit in with the cultural crowd and failed. I learned that my goal was nearly impossible to attain and often found myself alone. In 8th grade I finally found myself in a community of people that simply accepted me for who I was. I began to understand faith, God and love and how all 3 fit together. This is where my journey of true purpose began. Since then I have come to realize that real joy comes when I am able to add long-term value to people’s lives.

My Purpose:
In a few days I will turn 32 years old. I often find myself wondering what I am doing in life. I don't always have a 5 or 10 year plan. I in fact normally only know what my next step is. I do know that in everything I do, I want to add value into peoples' lives and make a difference in this world. I want the things I do on a micro level to have macro effects throughout history.

I try this in 3 ways--
1. Investing into people to bring value to their lives
2. Connecting people to different organizations so I can watch them make a difference.
3. Inspiring and empowering people to care and do good

Are you someone who's wondered where exactly you are going in life? Or maybe you are not sure whether what you are doing is making a difference in this world. Or maybe you don't think that one person can be a solution to all of our problems. Maybe you are trying to fit in, but really should rather be trying to make a difference.

Our Story:
My true belief is that everyone I encounter has the potential and ability to make a huge impact on this world. I see amazing gifts and talents all over the place and so desperately desire to see them being used for good. So, I encourage you to seek ways to make a micro impact so that we as a group can cause macro change. I invite you to donate $32 (or any amount) for my birthday so that we can provide clean water and save lives.
