goal
I turn 8 years old this year and I'm celebrating my birthday differently. I don't want presents for my birthday. I want clean water.
Women and children around the world walk hours every day to collect water for their families. And the worst part? The water they collect can make them really sick. That makes me sad. But what makes me happy is that we can actually do something about it!
On average, just $20 can give a person clean water to drink. With this project however, all money raised will go to Rwanda (where the cost is higher at $65).
The best part is that ALL of the money we raise will directly fund water projects in Rwanda, and when this project is complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates (a map) so we can see the impact we made. I can't think of a better birthday gift.
My campaign is for 3 months and my goal is $1,000. If I can raise more than that I will be happy to! Please donate to my campaign, and make this the best birthday ever! Thanks for visiting my water campaign page!
Love,
Kylie :-)
